Pain Management Physician

Position Duties:
Diagnosis, treatment and patient care of individuals suffering from pain due to injury/illness/disease or aging. Perform medical procedures and prescribe medication as necessary.

Procedures to be Performed by the Position:
Facet rhizotomy injection, facet joint injections, facet joint denervation, pulsed radiofrequencey treatment, discography, epidural steroid injection, sacrolliac joint steroid injection, selective nerve root block (SNRB) for diagnosis and back pain management, lumbar sympathetic block, stellate ganglion block, dekompressor disectomy, percutaneous disc nucleoplasty, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, spinal cord stimulation, sacral nerve root stimulation, intrathecal pump implant.

Education Requirements:
Job requires M.D. or foreign equivalent, plus forty-eight (48) months of training, including completion of a thirty-six (36) month Residency in Anesthesiology and a twelve (12) month Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine or Pain Management. Must also possess or be eligible to obtain an Indiana Medical License.
